Back by popular demand, this workshop will provide speech pathologists with a basic understanding of normal oesophageal anatomy and physiology, common oesophageal conditions and how they are evaluated.
It aims to teach speech pathologists how to conduct an oesophageal sweep during Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS) to identify patients at risk of oesophageal dysphagia and when to refer on for further specialist evaluation.
This three-hour workshop includes theory, hands-on ratings, discussion and problem solving presented by both speech pathology and ENT/ Laryngologists. It can be attended live or purchased for later viewing with a secure link (valid for one month).
