MSAC is now recruiting for a Reflux Testing Study

Given the growing concern regarding the long-term side effects of Proton Pump Inhibitor Medication use, and the introduction of new reflux testing technologies such as Oral Salivary Pepsin Enzyme testing, and pharyngeal 24 hour pH impedance probes, the Melbourne Swallow Analysis Centre is currently actively recruiting patients for a prospective study comparing the gold standard diagnostic test for laryngopharyngeal reflux, against a new minimally invasive test. This study will be jointly run through MSAC and Monash Health.
